RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROTOTYPES

Iacomec S.R.L. was founded in 2008 as a company of excellence in the field of production,
research and development. It is configured as a solid and extremely versatile company, ready to meet the requests of different types of customers and international brands in the food and packaging sector. Iacomec products are made using cutting-edge and eco-sustainable methods and technologies.

Iacomec S.R.L. continued in 2019 what started the previous year, i.e. using part of the resources available in the search for innovative solutions in the sector of competence.

Many hours were spent in experimental and competitive development, through the acquisition, combination and use of scientific, technological knowledge in order to develop new and improved products, processes or services. In addition, part of the costs are also related to specialized consultancy services and the purchase of material useful for carrying out tests on the prototypes made.

The continuous development and research of new products suited to the specific market needs of Iacomec S.R.L., are and will be in the years to follow the company’s guiding policies in order to continuously improve corporate strategies.

During 2018 Iacomec S.R.L. engaged in the prototyping of some particularly innovative machinery for the reference sector.

The year 2018 prototypes will be presented with a brief description and general layout attached.

PROTOTYPES

PROTOTYPE PRESS WITH ELECTRONIC FEED AND AUTOMATIC SIZE CHANGE

Continuation of the development and improvement of a press, which began in 2017, consisting of the change in the advancement of the aluminum sheet from a mechanical to an electronic type. This allowed a greater control of the functioning of the machine and in particular of the progress of the sheet.

Moreover, a further modification concerned the possibility of being able to use different printable sheet formats. In fact, the old system allowed correct operation with only one type of standard format.

STACKING PROTOTYPE FOR CAPSULES PACKAGING WITH THE USE OF DELTA ROBOTS

Design of a prototype machine capable of neatly positioning and stacking capsules inside a box thanks to the use of Delta Robot.

The robot positions and arranges the capsules in such a way as to allow their bulk movement within the cardboard, automatically arranging a protective film for each layer.

In this way a considerable reduction of the filling times of the boxes and of the external dimensions of the machine is obtained.

ROTARY SPARK TESTER PROTOTYPE

Design of a prototype machinery capable of checking the presence of micro punctures inside capsules used in the agri-food sector.

Unlike the traditional system, thanks to the use of specific mechanical cams, this type of prototype allows faster control of micro punctures, analyzing up to twice the number of pieces compared to a standard type.

ROTARY ASSEMBLING MACHINE PROTOTYPE

Design of a prototype machine capable of assembling capsules for the agri-food sector, consisting of two parts.

The assembly machine is able to allow the assembly of the pieces during the rotary movement inside a mechanical component. In this way, the realization times are shorter and the quality of the operation is also higher.

MULTI-CAPS PROTOTYPE

Design and construction of a prototype machine called “Multicap”, capable of performing the quality control of capsules used in the agri-food sector.

This prototype allows to analyze different types of capsule formats unlike the traditional models which instead are specific to each type of product. In this way it is possible to use a single machine for quality control of a large number of pieces.

OLIVE CONTROL MACHINE PROTOTYPE

Development and improvement of a control and selection machine for olives, starting from the Iacomec prototype previously built in 2017.

Thanks to the introduction of two vibrating systems, it is possible to feed the machinery ensuring the introduction inside the belts of a single piece at a time. This allows to avoid errors in the vision of the olives during operation, not causing unwanted waste.
